We had excellent views of bison, elk, beavers and other mammals. The trip to see beavers at work was fantastic. We also saw lots of birds, the most memorable for us being the white-tailed eagle and, seven types of woodpeckers – quite a set! Lucasz Mazurek is a knowledgeable naturalist and superb guide. We recommend the holiday!

It is a huge privilege just to walk in the forest. Any sightings of birds or mammals was, for me, just a bonus. The knowledge of the guides and the generosity with which they shared that knowledge was superb. They got just the right balance between skills, knowledge and fun.

Lukasz’s knowledge of animal tracks is very impressive and being shown several sets of wolf tracks was terrific! What an amazing experience! I went there on my own and felt looked after every step of the way. There was such a variety of bird and mammal life to be seen and amongst all I saw were bison, elk, lynx and wolf!! The guides were fantastic, helpful and super knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it so peaceful and informative. I can’t praise this trip highly enough!

Just got back from a week with Lukasz. What he doesn’t know about the Bierbza and Bialowieza National Parks is probably not worth knowing. We saw otter, beaver, elk, bison, deer, boar, various woodpeckers, saw a very fresh wolf kill, tracks and signs from pine martens, badger, fox, racoon dog, stoat, wolf, owls, and on and on. The landscapes were stunning and his jokes were terrible!

It’s no exaggeration to say we enjoyed every moment of our stay in Bialoweiza – our guide was extremely knowledgable, helpful at all times and ensured we had a great stay. We were excited to visit after reading the itinerary and it was every bit as good as we hoped – or better. We will definitely come back for more Wild Poland tours!
